Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in land development projects, specifically with the Drainage Act. You will be responsible for completing engineering designs, authoring Engineers Reports, and interacting with stakeholders and landowners. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completion of engineering design and for a wide variety of projects, with specific focus on components such as lot/site grading and drainage and stormwater management;
  • Authoring Engineers Report under the Drainage Act;
  • Completing counsel presentations with stakeholders and landowners, and interacting with township and city staff;
  • Identifying deficiencies and problem-solving maintenance requirements;
  • Preparing assessment schedules for municipal drains;
  • Providing leadership within the Land Owner Appeals, Tribunal and Referee process under the Drainage Act;
  • Maintaining positive client relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with industry professionals, consultants, and other business leaders.
