Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at TK Home. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to manage procurement processes from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services to support the operations of TK Home.
  • Assess requirements of various departments within TK Home to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased.
  • Develop detailed specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers, taking into account factors such as quality, price, and delivery time.
  • Consult with suppliers to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the procurement process.
  • Hire, train and supervise staff as needed to ensure effective management of procurement processes.
  • Review quotations from suppliers to ensure they meet company requirements.
  • Determine contract terms and conditions, including payment schedules and termination clauses.
  • Award contracts to appropriate parties based on competitive bids and other relevant factors.
  • Establish delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Monitor progress of delivery schedules to ensure prompt delivery of goods and services.
  • Contact clients and suppliers to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the procurement process.
  • Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of TK Home, including inventory management and supply chain optimization.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license, as travel may be required.
  • A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or logistics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
