Job Title: Residence Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Residence Coordinator to join our team at Student Homestay Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Residence Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of our residence program, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, and providing exceptional customer service to our students and host families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised, including preparing and submitting reports
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs and coordinate, assign, and review work
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Requisition materials and supplies, and provide emergency services as needed
  • Prepare, administer, and grade assigned work, and ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Manage staff and assign duties, and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a residential or student services setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Windows
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service
Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in a residential setting, with frequent interaction with students and host families
  • May require occasional evening or weekend work, depending on program needs
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
