About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Analyst to join our team at Burnaby Digital Media Inc. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing database systems that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Science: Conduct data analysis and interpretation to inform business decisions.
  • Database Design and Development: Design and develop database systems that meet the needs of our organization.
  • Database Administration: Operate and maintain database management systems to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Data Administration: Develop and implement data administration policies, standards, and models.
  • Research and Documentation: Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policies.
  • Policy Development: Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage, and for the backup and recovery of data.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models.
  • Scripting: Write scripts related to stored procedures and triggers.
  • User Requirements: Collect and document user requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in database administration or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
