Accounting Technician for Urban Environment

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to join our team at Wastech Services Inc.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and managing cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements;
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable;
- Manage cash flow, including making payments and depositing funds;
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting;
- Perform other accounting tasks as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field;
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field;
- Proficiency in accounting software, including MS Excel;
- Excellent organizational and communication skills;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
This position is located in an urban area, and you will be required to work on-site at our head office. We offer a fast-paced environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
