Your RoleAs a Claims Adjuster, you will report to the Claims Manager, Atlantic, and be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling commercial property and auto claims.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze claims information through thorough investigation
- Evaluate coverages, exclusions, and liability of various property policies
- Maintain accurate and timely records throughout claim handling
- Negotiate settlements or denials
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with claims vendors and clients
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Prepare timely reports and file presentations for the Claims Supervisor/Manager
- Collaborate with the Underwriting Department on risk assessment
- Minimum 3 years of commercial claims adjusting experience
- AMF licensed for commercial auto and property
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and investigative skills
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
- Bilingual (French/English) required
