About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves working collaboratively with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to provide therapeutic services to patients. As an Inpatient Therapist Aide, you will practice under their guidance and direction, developing your skills in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing treatment plans for patients, performing various components of therapy as prescribed by supervising therapists
  • Deliver exercise classes for patients, ensuring a safe and therapeutically beneficial experience
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Diploma in Occupational Therapy Assistant or Physiotherapy Assistant
  • Minimum 1-year experience in an inpatient setting, preferably in an inpatient unit
  • Knowledge of adaptive equipment, gait aids, and wheelchairs
