Job Description

We seek compassionate and motivated individuals to join our winning team. As a Physiotherapist Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Collecting and recording patient care data that follows format and guidelines of the patient care service, regulatory agencies, and third-party payers.
  • Preparing for evaluations in accordance with department policies/procedures and standards of practice.
  • Selecting and administering tests and measures.
  • Identifying need for consultations and/or referring patients to another health care professional or health care services.
  • Providing education/training to patients and/or patient support systems.
  • Overseeing support staff of PTA, ATC, PT aides.

Requirements

To succeed as a Physiotherapist Rehabilitation Specialist, you must have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree required, Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in.
  • Completed state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ).
  • Valid CPR License.
  • Experience/knowledge with an EMR software.
  • Excellent oral, written communication skills.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision.
