Job Title: Product Management Manager

About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in product management and strategic planning. As the Product Management Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of product managers and overseeing the development and launch of new products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Product Strategies: Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
  2. Lead Product Development Teams: Lead a team of product managers and work closely with R&D, sales, and operations teams to ensure the successful development and launch of new products.
  3. Define Business Models: Define and direct the creation of local product/system/service business plans, ensuring fit with division global strategy and supporting growth ambitions.
  4. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with peers in sales, product management, operations, distribution, pricing, commercial ops, finance, and engineering to develop and implement impactful strategies.
  5. Customer Engagement: Visit key customers and accounts to remain connected with trends and support the sales organization in managing challenging customer situations.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead the local product management industrial and utility team to meet P&L targets, ensuring the organization is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing or management, MBA is an asset.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience of managing marketing and sales strategies, change management skills, at least 7 years of relevant experience, and strong track record in relevant sector, including team management and leadership.
  • Skills: Product development experience is an asset. Collaborative, solution-focused approach, strong communication and relationship-building skills in French and English, with the ability to mobilize and motivate a team and represent the organization well.
  • Language: English is required as this position will service internal and external clients from other provinces.
  • Additional Requirements: Proven ability to demonstrate the value of digital and develop strategies to increase digital sales. Extensive business and industry experience, financial skills, and understanding of the Canadian electrical distribution and retail market is an asset.
