About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Academic Leader for Elementary Education to join our team. As a key member of our school leadership, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education that caters to the individual needs and abilities of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Academic Leadership: Collaborate with the Principal to develop and implement curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment practices aligned with Alberta Educational Standards and school goals.
  • Student Support and Discipline: Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive student support system, including counseling services, behavior management strategies, and academic interventions.
  • Administrative Duties: Assist the Principal in day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling, budget management, and resource allocation.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
  • Bachelor of Education Degree or equivalent recognized by Alberta Education
  • Understanding of different teaching methodologies and multiple intelligences
  • Minimum 4 years of teaching experience preferred
