About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at CRUZ MASONRY LTD. as a Bricklayer. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Estimate materials, tools, and equipment required for projects, and read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials needed.
  • Masonry Work: Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing, construct and install prefabricated masonry units, and build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations.
  • Tool Management: Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Quality Control: Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures to ensure high-quality finishes.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and gloves are required.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in masonry work.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week.
