We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at CRUZ MASONRY LTD. as a Bricklayer and Construction Expert. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality masonry work on various projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units to ensure precise and durable construction.
- Estimate materials, tools, and equipment required for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing, meeting exacting standards.
- Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, adhering to project specifications.
- Build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations, showcasing your creativity and skill.
- Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required, demonstrating your attention to detail.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools, showcasing your precision.
- Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces, meeting exacting standards.
- Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys, demonstrating your expertise.
- Lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures, showcasing your versatility.
- This role is physically demanding, requiring prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.
- Handling heavy loads and working at heights are essential aspects of this position.
- Steel-toed safety boots, hard hats, and gloves are mandatory for this role.
- We are looking for a reliable, accurate, and efficient individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
- A team player with a client-focused approach is essential for this role.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in masonry work is required for this position.
