Masonry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at CRUZ MASONRY LTD. as a Bricklayer. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.
Key Responsibilities- Estimating and Planning: Estimate materials, tools, and equipment required for projects, and plan the work accordingly.
- Masonry Work: Prepare and lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing, construct and install prefabricated masonry units, and build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations.
- Reading and Calculating: Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required, and ensure accurate measurements and calculations.
- Working at Heights: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Tool Maintenance: Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools, and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Restoration and Maintenance: Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures, and ensure they are safe and secure.
- Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Work Conditions: The work environment is physically demanding, with exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures.
- Education and Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in masonry work, with a strong understanding of construction techniques and materials.
- Language and Communication: Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
