Salary Range

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This position also comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Job Description

The Model Risk Governance team plays a critical role in ensuring that our models are accurate, reliable, and meet regulatory requirements. As a Model Risk Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  1. Contributing to the enhancement of our model risk appetite and management framework definition
  2. Engaging model owners/users/developers for the collation and ongoing maintenance of the SG AMER Model Inventory
  3. Performing quality controls on independent reviews performed by Validation teams
  4. Implementing model risk governance processes, including model risk assessment and reporting to relevant governance forums
  5. Participating in deck preparation for regulators and internal/external audit on model risk management topics
  6. Working with technology partners to design and roll out the firm's strategic model inventory and workflow solution
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum three years of experience in Model Risk Management related areas
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of Model Risk regulatory requirements (SR11-07) and industry standard practice
  • Experience in drafting policy and procedure documentation, and MIS intended for a senior audience
  • Good understanding of risk metrics and model risk controls
