About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of phase 1-4 clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas.

You will serve as the leader for the Study Management Team, with ultimate responsibility for the set-up, planning, and coordination of clinical trials from start-up to database lock and trial closure.

Your expertise will be utilized to manage and track key study metrics, communicate with other departments, and ensure adherence to project milestones.

In this role, you will report to a Clinical Program Leader and work collaboratively to guarantee accurate budget management, including oversight of third-party vendors working to defined plans.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing various aspects of trials from start-up to database lock and trial closure.

They will possess strong financial acumen, effective project planning skills, and flexibility to manage a virtual team.

Additionally, they will demonstrate experience in coordinating global or regional teams in a virtual environment and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in this capacity.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nursing, Pharmacy) or equivalent required;
  • 6-8 years' experience in clinical trial management/trial oversight in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO;
  • Proven track record in successfully managing various aspects of trials from start-up to database lock and trial closure;
  • Experience and ability in coordinating global or regional teams in a virtual environment;
  • Approximately 15% international travel for investigator meetings, face-to-face training, vendor visits, and quarterly team meetings;
  • Licenses and certifications as required by jurisdiction.
