Environmental Conservation Manager

We are seeking an Environmental Conservation Manager to join our team at the Ukrainian Canadian Congress of Saskatchewan.

Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we offer opportunities for professional growth and development.
Job DescriptionIn this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and external partners;
- Developing and implementing collaborative plans to achieve our environmental goals;
- Managing the society's finances, including budgeting, grants, and funding reports;
- Representing the organization in a variety of settings, including public speaking and advocacy;
- Leading the Special Publications program, including publishing books about natural history in Saskatchewan;
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A relevant undergraduate degree and a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a senior managerial role;
- Broad knowledge of conservation science, planning, and stewardship;
- Working knowledge of Saskatchewan's ecosystems, landscapes, and current ecological issues;
- Strong management experience, including project management, supervisory, and personnel management skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Experience with financials, including budgeting and working with multiple funders;
