Job Summary:

Lone Star Texas Grill is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Culinary Director to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menu plans that align with our brand's culinary vision and standards.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure that all ingredients and supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.
  • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared to our high standards.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other kitchen expenses to ensure that we are operating within our budget.
  • Collaborate with our management team to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff are following proper food safety and handling procedures.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct regular inventory and quality control checks to ensure that all food and supplies are stored and handled properly.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a culinary director or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of menu planning, inventory management, and food safety procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in culinary arts or related field preferred.
