Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer to support our Technical Marketing team and Product Marketing Group at QNX Software Systems. This role will focus on owning and delivering the technical validation of our products and solutions, while assisting the team in creating insightful Technical Marketing Assets that strengthen our core solutions' narrative and messaging.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in technical marketing for cybersecurity, with a strong background in communication skills, written and verbal. They will also have presentation experience, including briefings, demos, videos, podcasts, and industry events. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential, along with a self-motivated and detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the technical competency center within the team, developing and running efficacy and performance tests with third-party vendors.
  • Manage lab environments and demo systems to replicate real-world scenarios for Endpoint Protection.
  • Collaborate with our market-leading threat research team to understand the latest threat intelligence and implement it into our overall narrative.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining technical marketing communications across all outbound channels, including web copy, solutions briefs, demos, videos, blogs, and sales materials.
  • Help train and update sales and technical sales teams on the latest technical marketing messaging.
  • Represent QNX at public events, trade shows, webinars, and customer calls, showcasing technical expertise and professionalism.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with postgraduate qualifications in data security being highly desirable.
  • Strong focus on customer needs and outcomes, with a deep commitment to teamwork and creating great technical marketing assets.
  • Presentation experience, including briefings, demos, videos, podcasts, and industry events.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a desire to deliver high-quality results.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
