Procurement Specialist for Retail Operations

Job Title: Wholesale BuyerOur company is seeking an experienced Wholesale Buyer to join our team. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing merchandise for resale, negotiating prices with suppliers, and maintaining adequate stock levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Purchasing and Procurement: Source and purchase high-quality merchandise from suppliers, ensuring that our product range meets the needs of our customers.
- Negotiation and Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, discounts, and credit terms to ensure competitive pricing and favorable payment terms.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and excess inventory.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, informing our purchasing decisions and helping us stay ahead of the competition.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in wholesale buying, procurement, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
