Halfway House Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Halfway House Worker to join our team at Native Counselling Services of Alberta. As a key member of our community service organization, you will provide essential support and guidance to individuals in our halfway house program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative and office support to ensure the smooth operation of the halfway house.
- Assess clients' needs and eligibility for specific services, working closely with our team to develop personalized plans.
- Perform a range of administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Resolve conflict situations and provide emotional support to clients as needed.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings, promoting their independence and well-being.
- College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as social work or counseling.
- Experience working in a residential or community setting, with a focus on supporting vulnerable populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- First Aid Certificate and Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance required.
