Technical Authority

Logistik Unicorp Inc is seeking a highly skilled Technical Authority to join our team. As a key member of our Product Development Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing technical requirements for our uniform products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage uniform development projects for demanding institutional clients with tight deadlines;
  • Participate in the strategic development process and recognize the needs of consumers and the need to satisfy them with marketable and profitable solutions;
  • Collaborate with pattern makers and clothing adjustment technicians to ensure that clothing meets our specific data;
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that garments developed correspond to specific needs/data;
  • Guide the development team in the preparation of visual concepts and styles presentation boards;
  • Support the development team in creating specifications;
  • Oversee the creation of products over time, in collaboration with various stakeholders (Divisions, Clients, Development Teams);
  • Provide technical expertise to the development team to produce the technical deliverable required for production (production detail, material voucher, etc.);
  • Approve the final technical drawings and specifications before handing them over to clients;
  • Maintain a positive and motivated atmosphere with all members of the team;
Requirements
  • DEC or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a role similar to that of chief designer;
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Illustrator;
  • Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken);
  • Experience in development management of uniforms or clothing lines;
  • Knowledge of the garment industry, uniform and technical clothing;
  • Sense of organization, attention to detail and autonomy;
  • Experience in the military sector an asset;
