Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $38,560 per year, based on a 35-hour workweek and an hourly wage of $19.00. This figure is subject to change and may not reflect the actual compensation package offered by Paladin Security Group.

Job Description

This Security Guard role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing proactive and reactive security patrols and responses to incidents in the emergency department and mental health ward of the hospital. The ideal candidate will have superior customer service skills, be able to think quickly on their feet, and defuse difficult situations. They will also be required to write reports, investigate routine incidents, and respond to coded emergencies in a quick and efficient manner. Additionally, they will need to display excellent customer service skills, work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance, and be physically fit to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License, valid CPR and First Aid Certification Level C, and a Vulnerable Sector Check. They should also have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security, proficiency in English (both oral and written), and a diploma in Justice studies/police foundations (considered an asset).

Additional Information
