About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Aramark as a Bar Lead and Beverage Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while leading the bar team to deliver outstanding beverage experiences.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced bartender who can check patrons' identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consuming alcoholic beverages and follow safe drinking guidelines when serving customers.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience preparing the needed set-up for the bar, maintaining an accurate inventory of bar supplies, including beer, bottled liquor, wine, cups, mixers, sodas, and general bar supplies.
  • You will be responsible for accurate cash sales and cash handling, closing out every check once it has been paid, and assisting in the set-up and break-down of bar equipment as needed.
  • We also need someone who can serve and/or sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintain a cheerful demeanor while on duty, and inventory all stand sheet items prior to and at the end of each event.
  • An additional responsibility will be to calculate cash at the end of shift and return bank to the cash room, as well as perform other tasks assigned by management.

Key Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum two years full-service bartending experience preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of sophisticated mixed drink recipes and restaurant point-of-sales computer systems.
  • TIPS certification is mandatory.
  • Good communication and social skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on customer service, basic math, and counting skills.
  • The ability to pour mixed drinks and draft beer is also necessary.
