Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Intelligence Senior Analyst to join our team at Bausch & Lomb. As a key member of our commercial operations team, you will be responsible for conducting sales performance and market analysis, evaluating and interpreting data trends, and proposing business cases to support our forecast and business development process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth sales performance and market analysis to identify key drivers and trends.
  • Evaluate and interpret data from various sources, including IQVIA applications and databases, to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and propose business cases to support our forecast and business development process.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and management to drive data-informed decisions and create presentations that capture key drivers related to commercial operations.
  • Provide understandable and actionable metrics for first-line sales managers, product managers, and directors.
  • Conduct financial and supply demand product forecast for budget, forecast, and strategic planning.
  • Monitor performance and provide explanations for variances in the product portfolio.
  • Answer ad-hoc requests from commercial operations on market and competition.
  • Support and validate various monthly reporting by running queries and uploading data, maintaining instructions, and participating in monthly business reviews.
  • Maintain market definition processes and data validation before publication on reporting tools.
  • Identify and manage market research projects in collaboration with brand managers, working on methodology, supplier selection, and participating in the development of questionnaires and discussion guides.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, work tactically, and drive results to logical ends.
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
  • Ability to manipulate data from IQVIA and other suppliers to produce meaningful analyses.
  • Strong analytical skills to solve business problems and think independently.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, demonstrating initiative and flexibility through effective and innovative leadership ability.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional design teams.
  • Strong ability to interact with team members at all levels of the company.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and time management skills.
  • Bilingualism is a must (strong English and French oral, high proficiency in English and French written).
  • Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to uphold high-quality control standards.
  • Ability to provide estimates to support timelines and deliverables.
  • Market research experience is an advantage.
Technical Skills
  • Strong PC skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Experience with Forecast BI System.
Desired Education
  • B.A. / B.S. in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related area preferred.
  • 7 years + related work experience.
