About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Peace Villa, a 115-bed facility located in Fort St. John, BC. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality care to our clients.
Responsibilities
Some key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient care
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
- One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills within a specific clinical specialty or patient population
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
