About the Role:
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals. Your expertise in machine learning data structures and modeling, software architecture, libraries, and frameworks will enable you to create ML models that accomplish outlined goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement machine learning algorithms based on runtime system requirements and constraints.
- Collect, preprocess, and sanity-check large image datasets to ensure data quality and suitability for model training.
- Break down, implement, and supervise machine learning development lifecycle for assigned projects.
- Conduct code reviews and collaborate with software/hardware/cloud teams to deliver production-grade code/algorithm.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to define project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals.
- Take ownership of AI project development, including improvement roadmap and monitoring strategy.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technology/engineering field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning data structures and modeling, software architecture, libraries, and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of statistical learning algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, and transfer learning.
- Proficiency in Python development and version control.
- Basic familiarity with object- and service-oriented design, containerization, and complexity analysis.
- Solid experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
- Familiarity with image processing algorithms and Reinforcement Learning (RL).
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.
