Cameco Corporation is committed to building a diverse workforce reflective of the communities we operate in. We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team at our Key Lake operation.
Position and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all gasoline, diesel, and propane-powered automotive equipment, buses, and recreational vehicles on site. This includes performing inspections and servicing equipment as specified by preventative maintenance work orders, as well as troubleshooting equipment failures.
Requirements of the Position
- Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson automotive service technician certificate
- Five years related experience in an industrial, mill, or mining environment
- Ford-trained mechanic and Ford Integrated Diagnostic System experience
- Rim and tire safety training
- Ability to work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets
- Recreation Vehicle Service Technician certification
- Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification
- SAP experience
