Job Title: Automotive Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Neerlandia Co-op Service Centre in Neerlandia, AB. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing light to medium duty vehicles, and communicating with customers to ensure their satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments.
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of light to medium duty vehicles.
  • Communicate with customers to keep them informed about the status of their vehicles.
  • Use computerized testing equipment to diagnose and repair vehicles.

Accountability:

  • The Automotive Technician will report directly to the Service Centre Manager.
  • The technician will be responsible for aligning their objectives with Neerlandia Co-op's shared values, purpose, and vision.

Qualifications:

  • Valid high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Apprentice or Ticket/Red Seal Certification.
  • Preference will be given to 3rd/4th-year apprentice or Journeyman.
