Job Summary:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Pump Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our fleet of pumps and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Lead Hands and apprentices to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Mentor or teach apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Follow safety regulations and PPE protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Perform CVIP inspections and routine maintenance to prevent equipment downtime
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot engine, HVAC, hydraulic, air, drivetrain, steering, transmission, emission, and electrical components
  • Perform running repairs and service calls to minimize equipment downtime
  • Communicate effectively with other technicians to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Participate in company safety policy to promote a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working on pumps (Schwing & Putzmeister)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
  • Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic strongly preferred, but a non-ticketed Pump Mechanic with relevant experience may be considered at a lower rate

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of heavy equipment and pumps. They will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of equipment.
