Job Summary:

The Senior Advisor, Internal Communications is a key role within CATSA, responsible for providing strategic communications advice and services to key audiences to achieve corporate objectives. This position requires a collaborative approach, working with client groups to develop effective communication strategies, plans, and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication strategies to support corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with client groups to create effective communication plans and products.
  • Support the development of communications in accordance with relevant regulations, such as the Accessible Canada Regulations and the Official Languages Act.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a recognized university or college with a specialization in Communications or a related field.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in a strategic communications role.
  • Proven experience developing, writing, and presenting communications plans and senior management briefings.
  • Experience executing communications plans, including project management and product development.
  • Experience developing communications for specific internal and external audiences.
  • Experience using media content, public opinion research, and environmental analyses to provide strategic communications advice to senior management.
  • Experience developing collaborative relationships with and providing strategic advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in coordinating a corporate publication.
  • Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
