Job Title: Registered Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Joayo Therapy.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position, working 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in massage therapy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer massage techniques to alleviate pain and discomfort, using soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and other modalities.
  • Assess clients to determine the best course of treatment, and develop personalized plans to meet their needs.
  • Provide education and guidance to clients on self-care techniques and strategies for maintaining optimal health.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments and client progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Requirements
  • Registration with a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
