About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Sean Reid. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with shopping for food and household supplies, as well as running errands.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and crouching.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
