Job Title: Optical AssociateWe are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Associate to join our team at our Vaughan clinic. As an Optical Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our patients and contributing to our success.
Key Responsibilities:- Educate clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best in value and quality.
- Inform patients about advances in corrective eyewear solutions and assist with the selection of frames to suit their aesthetic and performance needs.
- Interpret optical prescriptions as written by an optometrist.
- Perform frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear and perform repairs and adjustments to returning patients'.
- Place Contact Lens orders and assist with fittings.
- Communicate with patients in person, by phone, and by email.
- Bill the patient, their medical service provider, and other third parties.
- Manage appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing and payments.
- Warmly greet patients as they enter our clinic.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment preferred.
- Previous optical experience is considered an asset.
- Passionate about customer service.
- A high level of comfort using technology and computers.
- A great communicator who can provide exceptional patient care.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
