Job Title: Program Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Service Specialist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Mental Health Addictions Services department, you will play a critical role in researching, developing, implementing, and continually improving clinical practices, processes, documentation, reporting, and clinical data/information to enable effective and efficient care in our departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and develop clinical practices, processes, and documentation to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of new practices and processes
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders, Information and Technology Services, clinical managers, and directors to facilitate quality improvement changes
  • Provide oversight and facilitate quality improvement changes in collaboration with clinical leaders, Information and Technology Services, clinical managers, and directors
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve clinical care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare discipline
  • Relevant professional development in process improvement, change management, information technology/information management, project management, group facilitation, and coaching
  • Five to seven years of experience in front-line clinical care and related experience working in clinical operations EMR use
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
