Job Title: Junior Teacher - French Immersion

We are seeking a qualified Junior Teacher to join our team at St. John French Immersion Catholic Elementary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French Immersion students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach French Immersion students in grades 4-6
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and supportive school culture
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Education Degree and Ontario College of Teachers certification
  • Previous elementary teaching experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario curriculum and assessment techniques
  • Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming learning environment
