Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated teacher to join our team at St. Mark's Catholic Elementary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Junior Grade 4/5 students and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Junior Grade 4/5 students and develop engaging lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve academic and personal goals
  • Contribute to the development of a safe and respectful school community
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Education Degree and good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Qualifications appropriate to the position
  • Previous elementary teaching experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations and Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession
  • Practicing Catholic with an active Catholic Faith life
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation, and assessment techniques
  • Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment
