Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Resource Bridge Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the design and construction engineering of resource bridge and culvert projects in the public and private sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a design team and supervise and coordinate the activity of other engineers and project team members.
- Mentorship of new and junior employees is a key part of this role and our organization.
- Continually foster and grow strong relationships with our clients.
- Design and construction engineering of resource bridge and culvert projects.
- Business development, budgeting, and project management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration.
- Alberta Transportation (AT) Class A and Class B Bridge Inspection Certifications will be considered a strong asset.
- Registered (or eligible for registration) as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in bridge assessment, bridge planning, bridge load evaluation, and culvert sizing.
- Strong working knowledge with the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CAN/CSA-S6) and the Canadian Foundation Engineering Manual.
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment.
- Technical competence and strong attention to detail.
- Proven leadership and mentoring ability.
