About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Consultant to join our team in Toronto. As a critical resource on multiple projects, you will provide end-to-end technical expertise, reviewing design briefs and filling in the gaps, and ensuring preliminary cost estimates for electrical and high voltage are accurate and submitted on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide electrical cost estimating services for new and existing infrastructure projects, including major transit builds throughout Canada.
  • Manage relationships and grow the business by developing and building long-term client relationships, leading the assessment of client requirements, and working with Management to support the implementation of strategies that contribute to the business unit's revenue generation, profitability, and growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Senior-level experience in electrical and high voltage estimating, cost planning and project monitoring services.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of RICS Project Monitoring guidelines, CIQS standard method of measurement, provincial lien acts, and CCDC standard contract conditions. Proficient with Sharepoint and MS Office, including advanced skills in Excel and CostX.
