Job Title: Senior Cost Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a Senior Cost Consultant, you will play a key role in providing estimate and cost planning services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and present cost plans for commercial, institutional, and residential projects throughout Canada.
  • Manage estimating and cost planning activities, including taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan.
  • Ensure effective cost analysis, cost checking, and valuation work.
  • Participate in value engineering, LEED analysis, and life cycle costing.
  • Maintain liaison with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate solid presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCad Navisworks, and/or other related computer software.
  • Good knowledge of all methods of construction procurement.
  • Experience with advising clients on value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience preparing electrical cost estimates on complex construction projects.
  • Experience managing electrical cost or estimating on data center, high-tech, manufacturing, commercial real estate, or relatable construction projects.
  • Construction experience with electrical systems.
  • Experience with all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) a plus.
