Manufacturing Operations Director

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the transformation and scaling of our manufacturing processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a transformative manufacturing vision that aligns with our company's growth goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement cost-effective, innovative manufacturing methods to optimize lab-scale production for scalability.
- Manage relationships with contract manufacturers and assembly partners to ensure seamless outsourcing and supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize product design for scalable manufacturing and minimize errors and quality issues.
- Oversee logistics, inventory management, vendor relations, and warehouse operations to enhance supply chain efficiency and support growth.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including assembly, quality assurance, calibration, and supply chain, to drive a step change in team productivity.
- 10 years of experience in leading high-quality manufacturing assembly operations.
- Proven ability to develop and execute a transformative manufacturing vision, with excellent strategic planning, project management, and process improvement skills.
- Strong background in outsourcing manufacturing processes and supply chain optimization.
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Willingness to be based in Fredericton with international travel for benchmarking and partnership development.
