Job Title: Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at UMBRELLAR CANADA. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including hardwood, resilient, and carpet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting on floors and walls
  • Install resilient floor coverings and hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in flooring installation
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish between colors
  • Own transportation
Work Environment:

Our team works in a fast-paced environment with various types of flooring materials. You will be required to work in dusty and odorous conditions.
