Job Title: Flooring Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installation Specialist to join our team at TILE PRO FLOORING LTD.

Job Summary:

The Flooring Installation Specialist will be responsible for installing various types of flooring, including hardwood, carpet, and resilient flooring. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting on floors and walls
  • Install resilient floor coverings
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in flooring installation
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Physically demanding work environment
Work Environment:

The Flooring Installation Specialist will work in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential locations. The work environment will be physically demanding, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
