We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at WIRE EDM INC. as a key member of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program and Operate CNC Machines
    • Develop and implement production, inventory, and quality assurance programs to optimize manufacturing processes.
    • Design and set up CNC machine controls to ensure efficient and accurate production.
    • Conduct work measurement studies to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manufacturing Process Development
    • Design and develop manufacturing processes and procedures to meet production requirements.
    • Develop and implement health, safety, and fire prevention plans to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Conduct safety training programs for employees.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain reports to track production metrics and quality control.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations.
    • Communicate effectively with employees, management, and external partners to ensure clear understanding of production requirements and goals.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in CNC programming and manufacturing operations.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and manufacturing processes.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
