CNC Programmer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at Kubik Inc. in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program parts for CNC machines by reading and interpreting approved fabrication drawings.
  • Translate 2D or 3D drawings into machine-readable programs to operate CNC routers, including call-outs for all material requirements.
  • Support production on a daily basis to ensure client needs are being met.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize CNC programs for new materials.
  • Program nesting configurations for production staff to optimize material use.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in AutoCAD/CNC programming and setup, preferably in a woodwork/millwork shop.
  • Experience in cabinetmaking is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Biesse software is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Working Hours: 7:00-4:30 with opportunities for overtime.
