Division Chief and Pediatric Cardiologist Opportunity

CHEO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Division Chief and pediatric cardiologist to lead our Division of Cardiology. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and quality of care provided by our medical staff, as well as the operational and academic activities of the division.

About the Role
  • Lead clinical care, teaching, and research in the Division of Cardiology
  • Oversee the safety and quality of care provided by the medical staff
  • Provide operational and academic leadership to the division
  • Maintain a clinical and academic role within the division
Requirements
  • MD degree and certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in pediatric cardiology or equivalent
  • Eligibility for a full-time academic appointment in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa
  • Strong operational and academic leadership skills
  • Proven record of achievement in comprehensive patient care, clinical program development, education, research, and/or quality assurance
