Restaurant Shift Manager

Join Holston Foods Ltd. as a Restaurant Shift Manager and be responsible for leading a team of staff who prepare and portion food in our fast-paced restaurant environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to lead our team and ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and quality food. As a Restaurant Shift Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of your team, training staff on job duties and procedures, and maintaining records of stock, sales, and wastage.

In this role, you will work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods. You will also be responsible for addressing customer complaints and concerns, estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and preparing and submitting reports.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team. If you have a client-focused approach and efficient interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Maintain records of stock, sales, and wastage
  • Address customer complaints or concerns
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with high volume customer traffic
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team
