Job Description

As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll be a technical leader within your squad, driving high-impact initiatives that shape the future of our systems and architecture.

You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals, while promoting a culture of engineering excellence.

In this role, you'll influence the technical direction of projects, mentor engineers across the organization, and ensure that our systems are built with scalability, performance, and maintainability in mind.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the technical design and implementation of complex systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  2. Drive high-impact, cross-functional projects that align technical solutions with business goals.
  3. Mentor engineers across the organization, sharing expertise and helping develop their technical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Set the architectural direction for projects, defining patterns that improve system reliability and influence multiple teams.
  5. Proactively identify technical opportunities to improve customer experience and contribute to product strategy.
  6. Lead technical initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and foster innovation across the engineering organization.
  7. Drive organizational growth by leading workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and cross-team initiatives that elevate technical standards.

We're looking for a skilled engineer with 8+ years of experience in web application frameworks such as Nodejs, React, Redux, Angular, Next or similar.

You should have expertise in data-driven architecture and systems design, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, in-memory and distributed SQL.

We're a cloud-native company, and we prefer experience with AWS serverless or containers.

We're looking for someone who embodies the concepts of Agile Scrum software development and has experience working in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD) model.
