We are currently seeking a skilled Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the Montreal Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel.

Job Summary:

The Food & Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring excellent service delivery in all food and beverage outlets, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To supervise staff members in their duties and tasks, ensuring they work efficiently and effectively to meet guest needs.
  • To inspect the grooming and attire of staff members and rectify any deficiencies promptly.
  • To complete opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and locking doors.
  • To inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness, and to complete scheduled inventories and stock necessary supplies.
  • To monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests, and to complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
  • To assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees, and to serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of related work experience, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, move up and down stairs and/or service ramps, and reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
