About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer II to join our team at Ansys, a leading provider of simulation and engineering software. The successful candidate will contribute to the support and deployment of Ansys EDA products across top semiconductor companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop competence in one or more Ansys products, working independently to deliver high-quality results.
  • Provide customer support, answering questions on tool functionality and troubleshooting product defects.
  • Collaborate with software developers, architects, and product specialists to develop and deploy Ansys products for leading-edge semiconductor design customers.
  • Focus on Power Integrity, Signal Integrity, and Reliability of IPs and SoCs.
Requirements
  • BS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years' experience, MS with 3 years' experience, or PhD with 1 year experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and good programming skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of VLSI design, Physical Design, CMOS fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Passion to learn and deploy new technologies.
  • 0-2 years of prior experience in ASIC Physical design, Power-Integrity/Signal-Integrity/Reliability Closure, or Custom circuit design and simulation.
