Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team at BC Housing. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering funding and working in partnership with service providers across the province to deliver Women's Transition Housing and Supports Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer funding and work in partnership with service providers to deliver Women's Transition Housing and Supports Programs.
  • Provide consultation and support to Boards of Directors and Executive staff of Non-Profit Societies regarding the effective management and delivery of core services and financial oversight.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service providers, stakeholders, and community partners to ensure effective program delivery and outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with BC Housing's strategic objectives and priorities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, social services, public administration, or a related field.
  • Considerable experience in program administration, social services, and community-based programs.
  • Strong knowledge of non-profit society governance, management, and operation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a unionized environment.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
